Marina Herchel

Marina leads a joyful and adventurous yoga class. Welcoming the diverse range of body structures among her students, she thoughtfully incorporates options and modifications in her sequencing for all abilities to engage with their body and practice with kindness and acceptance. Having navigated anxiety throughout her life, she weaves mindfulness, meditation, and the significance of being present into her classes. Without any background of sport or gymnastics, Marina particularly loves the strength and agility that yoga can bring to both body and mind. She shares how she feels stronger and healthier now in her 40s, both physically and mentally, than she ever did in her twenties, thanks to yoga.

Marina was first introduced to yoga in her twenties, but it was in her thirties that she completely fell in love with Rocket Yoga. Rocket Yoga elevated her personal practice, leading her to complete her initial teacher training in 2019, marking just the beginning of her journey. She has since continued to explore, study and qualify in Vinyasa, Rocket, Yin, Meridians, Menopause Yoga, and Yoga Hands-On Assists. With over 700 hours of teacher training, Marina remains dedicated to her ongoing study of yoga.
