At Cucumber Fields we offer exciting Cycle Class styles that cater for all abilities and energy preferences.
If you desire an exerting ride that will push you to your maximum output, then Power Up Cycle is the perfect class for you.
If you want to welcome in a state of Zen and experience a cardio workout within a calm, holistic environment using the bike, breathwork and yoga inspired stretches, then our signature ZenCycle class is for you.
If you want to incorporate strength training into your cardio workout then you can head to our Strength & Sprint Class and Strength Cycle Class.
Across our various class styles we believe you have the opportunity to nurture all aspects of your body and mind.
Cycle Classes
Cycling Experience
All riders work to the same effort level, regulated by each individuals appropriate FTP score which creates a perfect group fitness environment where no one feels left behind.
Power Up Cycle
Pedal past your limits and take your cycling performance to the next level. High intensity interval training, that is both challenging and energising. The power cycle programme is designed to build endurance and speed. Riding in 7 colour-coded power zones, your performance stats are displayed on a screen, allowing you to track your personal power output, speed, and distance. It’s about your own individual performance working to a level that’s right for you. Power Up and feel the burn! Suitable for all abilities who want to challenge and increase their fitness levels.
Strength & Sprint Cycle
Strength & Sprint Cycle is designed to maximise your fitness in less time, combining 20 minutes of targeted resistance band training, 15 minutes of exhilarating sprint cycling intervals with active recovery time, finishing with 10 minutes mobility and stretch work. Perfect for anyone looking to improve body composition, increase muscle definition, feel stronger and more energised, and gain positive impacts on mental well-being. Come ready to challenge yourself and leave feeling powerful!
This Personal Training experience with the vibrancy of group support addresses important aspects of wellbeing to consider at all stages of life, particularly as we age.
ZenCycle: Where cardio fitness meets mindful yoga.
Our signature ZenCycle class is a perfectly balanced, 55 minute morning session where cardio fitness meets mindful yoga. This ultimate mind & body experience combines a 20-25 minute calm Cycle to ambient, feel-good music where you are encouraged to keep a steady breath, stay focused on the present moment and be guided by the rhythm of the music. This lower impact cardio is excellent for heart health, fat burning and releasing endorphins (happiness hormones). Stepping off the bike onto the mat for a 20-25 minute yoga practice; combining breath work and fluid movement to stretch, mobilise and energise your body, whilst awakening the mind into a calm and focused state. Finishing the session with a few minutes of guided meditation to allow the Zen of the session to soak through body, mind and spirit. With only 7 places available each session, it makes it an excellent choice for all levels - perfect for those who want to bring some Zen to their usual fitness training or some fitness to spice up their Zen!
Strength Cycle
Strength training is so beneficial for our overall health and longevity. When combined with cardio cycle training - it’s a power partnership! The first half of the session is fired up with all the benefits of Power Up Cycle, followed with strength training using bumb-bell weights and body weight work. Strengthen muscle and bone mass, feel physically stronger and more confident,
support heart health and prevent injuries from occurring.
The endorphine spike from this cross training is a great way to destress and boost mental wellbeing.
Suitable for all abilities who want to challenge and increase their fitness levels.
