PIPPA JOHNSON
Pippa was properly introduced to yoga at Theatre School in 2008 to support her dance training but she quickly became hooked on the physical and emotional support it provided to her when she needed it most. Having always had a passion for health, fitness and nutrition, she qualified as a fitness instructor which gave her greater understanding of the biomechanics of the body, a subject that continues to be of deep interest to her.
After 6 years as a yoga student, Pippa went on to complete her teacher training in 2014 and was offered teaching opportunities straight away. Nowadays, Pippa is predominately recognised as a Forrest-Inspired Yoga teacher - a stronger, steadier form of practice to help the mind and body cultivate strength, grace, ease and integrity. With far over 10,000 hours teaching experience between classes, private tuition, workshops, retreats and trainings, Pippa is now acknowledged as a senior teacher due to her extensive level of teaching experience and training. She passionately shares teaching styles from Hatha Vinyasa (to Advanced level), Yin, Rocket-Inspired and Forrest-Inspired yoga. She is also a qualified Reformer Pilates instructor since 2024 and encourages students to enjoy a variety of movement practices to support their wellbeing.
Pippa is renowned for her intuitive ability to help her students through breath and movement, nurturing physical assists or energetic engagement. Since her work with Private Tuition clients regularly calls for a deeper level of therapeutic healing, Pippa embraced the timely invitation to train privately through to a second degree of classical Reiki Healing which she now is proud to offer as a stand alone treatment. She is also training as a coach and massage therapists too, as she continues to follow her calling to support her students in the greatest holistic capacity she can.
As a proud co-founder and director of Cucumber Fields since is birth in 2020, she hopes to share the life-changing practice of Yoga with all students she comes to guide. “My journey as a teacher and as a yogi continues to blossom, I love how much I am forever learning from students, teachers, and the experiences of life - opportunity is in everything. I am grateful for it all.”
