Event Overview

The Summer Solstice marks the height of the sun’s journey - when light is at its fullest, nature is in abundance and the earth feels alive with energy. As a sacred turning point in the wheel of the year, it’s a beautiful time for us to pause and celebrate the vitality of life at its peak.

At this midsummer threshold, we’ll come together in this special evening of ceremony and movement to honour the light within and around us.

Becci will guide you through a heart-led opening circle, followed by a shamanic ritual in honour of Mother Earth, before moving into an uplifting, fiery yoga practice to awaken warmth and expansion.

Weather permitting we hope to hold this special ceremony outside on our Orchard Platform.

Opening Ceremony

Welcome and exploring the meaning and significance of the Summer Solstice
You’ll be invited to place anything you wish to infuse the solstice energy into onto the central altar (e.g. crystal, jewellery, photos, and so on) and then anything you might like to add as an offering - maybe some flowers, fruit, sticks of incense and so on.

Despacho Ceremony

A Despacho ceremony is a traditional Andean ritual of gratitude and prayer, offered to honour Mother Earth (Pachamama) and the natural world. Using seasonal and symbolic items, participants create a collective offering, each placement made with intention - whether for gratitude, healing, release or calling in blessings. It is a heart-led practice that weaves individual intentions into a shared prayer, returning them to the earth as an act of reciprocity, connection and reverence for life.
The offering is then burnt over a fire. (weather permitting, this Ceremony will be held outside with a fire.)

Uplifting Yoga Practice

Becci will then move you into an uplifting and fiery somatic yoga practice, to salute the sun and give thanks for it's light and life - the energy it gives us every single day. Ending with an extended savasana, guided meditation and grounding touch with essential oil and reiki to close

We’ll end the evening together in The Pantry with herbal teas and a sweet treat to support further integration and connection time.
