Samantha Shaikh - Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher
Event Overview
During this day of retreat in the tranquil surroundings of Cucumber Fields, we will enjoy two Iyengar yoga and pranayama sessions, one deeply restorative, and learn how these evidence based practices can enhance women's wellbeing throughout all the cycles of life. We will enjoy a hands on nutritional therapy session, learning how diet can support women's various life stages, followed by a delicious vegetarian/vegan lunch. Continuing with a fun session of face yoga and concluding with a deeply relaxing sound bath, with gongs, crystal bowls and drums.
Our intention for this day is to create space to hone techniques to find moments of calm during the perpetual stresses of modern life and find pathways to peace and tranquillity for body, mind and spirit. Come along and learn from our four expert practitioners the many varied means available to help you on your journey to holistic wellbeing.
