Course Overview
PILATES FOR BACK PAIN: 7 Week Course
Group sessions - Saturday 6th June - Saturday 11th July
Initial Movement Assessment - included in fee but date booked prior to course when convenient.
If your body has been holding you back, this is your opportunity to reset, rebuild and move forward with confidence.
Feel Stronger. Move Freely. Live Without Constant Back Pain.
The Alignment Series: A 7-Week Reformer Programme
A specialist, small-group Reformer Pilates programme designed for those living with back pain, stiffness or ongoing aches and tension.
If you’re tired of managing discomfort or feeling unsure what exercise is right for your body, this programme offers a more considered, expert-led approach.
A Personal Approach
This programme is a personalised and structured pathway for those needing additional support.
Before joining the group, you will complete a 90-minute 1:1 Functional Movement Assessment at Awaken Pilates.
This session is included within the programme fee, and can be booked separately at a time that suits your schedule.
During this assessment, we explore:
Your posture and movement patterns
The underlying causes of your discomfort
Any injuries, limitations or compensations.
From here, your programme is individually curated within the group setting so you are always working in a way that supports your body.
This bridges the gap between rehabilitation and fitness - offering a level of individual attention you would typically only receive in 1:1 sessions.
This is where real, lasting change begins.
Your 7-Week Journey
The programme begins with your Reformer Reset - restoring alignment, awareness and control - before progressing into strength, stability and confident movement.
Over the 7 weeks, you will:
Reduce back pain and persistent tension
Improve posture and spinal alignment
Build deep core and postural strength
Increase mobility safely and effectively
Move with greater confidence and ease.
By the end of the programme, most clients don’t just feel progress - they understand their body in a completely different way.
A Recent Client Experience
"I’d had ongoing back pain for a long time. After trying many things, this programme felt completely different - everything was tailored to me and for the first time I felt like I understood what my body actually needed. By the end, my pain had reduced greatly, I was moving more freely, and with far more confidence."
